Assign new calculation formula

Calculation formulae enable system proposals in the salary and bonus area, based on a wide range of criteria.

  1. Put a check against the employee you require and execute this action.
  2. Select the correct calculation formula for this group of people and click "Assign".
  3. Put a checkmark against "Overwrite existing formula" if you are certain that you want to overwrite a formula which was previously assigned. Leave the checkmark out if you do not want to overwrite a formula which was previously assigned.
  4. Click "Assign formula".
  • If no formula is available for selection, first check your search settings and, if there is a search, reset it. If there is still no formula available, notify your system administrator or, if you are an administrator, create a new calculation formula.

If you want to omit this step from the process, the agreeing of an employee review meeting in association with a working main calculation formula is essential. When an employee review meeting is agreed, an automatic process begins which copies both the main calculation formula and the basic salary data to the period concerned.
