After executing the multiple action "Assign applicant to appointments for this job and send invitation" in the Applicant overview for a job, select the desired appointment and application status and click on "Assign". If none of the available appointments is appropriate, you can also create new appointments. After saving/assigning, you can then select an email template in the second step in order to inform applicants about the next steps in scheduling an appointment.

Once the applicants have received an email asking them to choose an appointment and register for it, they log in with their user credentials. They will see two appointment overviews in their profile:
* Open appointments
: If multiple possible appointments are available in the open appointments of a given appointment type, the applicant can select up to a certain pre-defined number of appointments (specified in Maximum number of appointments of this type available for selection by each applicant).
* Confirmed appointments
: In this tabular overview, the applicant sees all appointments that he or she has confirmed.

In the Appointments tab for the given job, HR experts and administrators can see at any time how many applicants have been invited to which appointments, and which people have signed up for which appointment.
